Orphan Sponsorship Project
Orphan sponsorship is a contribution to securing the various services provided by the association to orphans. These services are allocated in a clear and transparent manner, with the aim of producing a capable generation that can effectively and distinctively engage with life in terms of intellect, emotion, and openness. This will ultimately benefit the community, the nation, and all people. This is the ultimate goal of orphan care at the Al-Mabarat Charity Association, and sponsorship is a contribution to this humanitarian, mission-driven project, without a doubt.
Orphan sponsorship is not only a financial contribution but also a social and humanitarian connection between the orphan and the sponsor. This connection is manifested in the communication between the two through the relationships and sponsorship circle, which ensures this communication in various forms depending on the circumstances of the sponsor or the orphan. Forms of communication include exchanged messages, especially during major occasions, greeting cards during holidays, school and behavioral report cards at the end of the academic year, as well as mutual visits, holiday gifts, and more. These efforts strengthen the bond between the sponsor and the orphan, while also fostering trust between the sponsor and the association.
Orphan sponsorship officially begins when the sponsor receives the orphan's card, which includes the personal information and photo, and lasts for one year from the date of issuance. It is automatically renewed or through direct contact between the sponsor and the relevant department. The sponsorship can be paid in full or in installments (monthly, quarterly, or annually), depending on the sponsor's ability. The association relies on the Relationships and Sponsorship Department to connect with philanthropists for sponsorship. This department has offices and representatives in various regions of Lebanon and some countries abroad. The office or representative acts as a link between the sponsor and the institution that hosts the orphan. They are always ready to fulfill the sponsor's wishes for communication with the association, department, or the orphan at any time.
