Al Mabarrat Sports Academy

The Al Mabarrat Charitable Association launched the"Al Mabarrat Sports Academy " MSA project at Al Mabarrat Stadium - Airport Road at the beginning of 2018, under the supervision of a specialized administrative body and a group of elite trainers.

The academy seeks to develop the skills of its players through diverse and purposeful training using modern technical and artistic methods, and through group training, according to age groups, where training varies from session to session to include techniques that contribute to building a healthy and strong athletic body on the one hand and raising the level of performance on the other.

In addition, there are various artistic programs, activities, matches, and visits by Lebanese football stars to the academy, where they meet with the players and give them the necessary instructions, advice, and guidance, which contributes to motivating them morally and sharing training with players who have been looking forward to meeting them since childhood and taking commemorative photos with them.

Target age groups:

The academy accepts children from the age of five to 17 years old, where players are distributed according to age groups (2011-2012/2009-2010/2007-2008/2005-2006/2004-2003-2002), so that a specialized coach is available for each group, which does not exceed 14 players. The training is given in three training sessions per week, each session lasting an hour and a half. The timings are determined according to the priority of education and study for the students, so the winter schedule differs from the summer schedule. Therefore, the training is usually in winter, at the end of the week. The winter schedule is usually at the end of the week on Fridays, Saturdays and sometimes Sundays, while in summer the training is on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

The importance and effectiveness of the academy's role:

The academy holds external camps and summer camps with the aim of promoting team spirit and camaraderie among everyone. The academy’s scout camp will be held during August 2018 in the Abbasiya area in the south, and will mark the beginning of achieving the desired goals. The academy has managed to establish a strong presence in the sporting arena, especially considering its relatively short existence of only a few months. It has attracted over 170 players of various ages and achieved remarkable results through its participation in numerous matches against different academies and sports clubs. Perhaps the most notable of these results is the emergence of several exceptionally talented players. The academy is committed to refining, nurturing, and developing these talents through a comprehensive and professional training program.

Educational and health supervision:

It must be noted that Al Mabarrat Academy is distinguished from other academies in the educational relationship that governs the coach and management with the players, as the accredited educational specialist plays a prominent role in promoting ethical and positive communication among the players, in addition to individual sessions with parents and players who have special cases and difficulty in adapting and integrating with the team. In addition, Al Mabarrat Academy employs a nutritionist to develop health programs and provide advice, guidance, and special examinations for players who are overweight or obese. It should be noted that the academy has contracted with an insurance company to insure the health and safety of players during their time in training, and to cover various injuries.

World-class stadium:

What also distinguishes Al Mabarrat Academy is its training ground, and the association’s management is currently working on replacing the grass and increasing the area of the field to meet FIFA’s international standards. The field is located on Airport Road at a point of connection between Beirut and the southern suburbs. The academy welcomes players of all affiliations in a manner consistent with the mission of the Al Mabarrat Charitable Association, without discrimination between one player and another. The academy offers diverse and simplified educational, moral, and cultural sessions for different age groups, during which the academy presents various prizes and gifts.

Financial subscriptions that take into account living conditions:

The approved monthly financial subscription takes into account people’s living conditions, and it is lower than the approved prices in the region in relation to the size and variety of services provided by the academy and training. A free subscription has also been set for orphaned children from the talented students of the Al-Mabarrat Association.

It should be noted that the academy continues to register players throughout the year, summer and winter.
