Islamic Cultural Center

The Islamic Cultural Center: A cultural institution sponsored by His Eminence Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Muhammad Hussein Fadlallah (may God sanctify his soul), where the center works to spread Islamic culture in the line of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them).

Among his most prominent cultural works:

Holding intellectual and cultural seminars attended by leading thinkers and scholars on topics of interest to contemporary generations.
Commemorating religious occasions.
Daily lessons in jurisprudence, theology, and ethics at the Imamayn al-Hasanayn Mosque.
Courses in Quranic recitation, memorization, and intonation.
Organizing weekly Quranic exegesis lessons.
Publishing diverse works on jurisprudence, theology, the Quran, and general concepts.
Holding summer programs for boys and girls.
Organizing Friday prayer services.
Literacy classes.

The center includes:

can accommodate more than ten thousand worshippers. It was built to host Friday prayers, which were led by the late Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Muhammad Hussein Fadlallah (may God have mercy on him), and continued under the leadership of his son, Sayyid Ali Fadlallah, in addition to the daily congregational prayers. Besides the main mosque, it includes an upper floor designated for women. The mosque annually hosts a series of spiritual programs during the holy month of Ramadan: • Daily lectures and daytime supplications • Nightly supplications after the Isha prayer • Commemoration of the Nights of Power (Laylat al-Qadr), which are observed on the 19th, 21st, and 23rd nights of the last ten days of Ramadan, as well as the Night of the 15th of Sha'ban.

which can accommodate more than 1000 people, is equipped to high standards and with modern technology. The hall hosts a number of activities, including cultural seminars and conferences, celebrations of Islamic occasions, and meaningful theatrical performances.

which is a public library containing more than 100,000 volumes, including religious, educational, social, general cultural books and huge linguistic encyclopedias. The library also includes a section containing advanced computers through which it provides internet search services in addition to search services in various encyclopedic programs.
