Al-Hawra Charity in the Bekaa held an honoring and recreational ceremony at the close of the school year, in which it honored the children who had kept to a distinctive educational initiative entitled “The Educational Bank” for positive behavior, in the presence of the director Haj Ibrahim Al-Saeed, alongside the administrative and educational staff. The ceremony included the distribution of incentive prizes, secured through the generous support of Haj Mahmoud Jaafar and Haj Hussein Al-Masri, who contributed to the project's success materially and morally.
The initiative aims to strengthen commitment and behavioural discipline, and to root educational values in the children within an encouraging and motivating environment.
It rests on an incentive system based on collecting points throughout the school year, according to defined educational criteria, foremost among them: keeping to prayer, respecting the internal regulations, abiding by family rules, and taking an effective part in school activities. The project is an effective means of developing the children's self-motivation, and encouraging them toward behavioural and personal excellence.
The ceremony's activities included games and group activities in the charity's courtyard, which lent an atmosphere of joy and warmth among the children, and the day concluded with a barbecue and an interactive gathering to be recorded as a distinctive memory for the participants.
