Al-Mabarrat Charitable Association celebrated the Taklif of its male students who had reached the age of religious maturity, at a ceremony held in the presence of the General Religious Supervisor of Al-Mabarrat Charitable Association, His Eminence Dr. Sayyed Jaafar Fadlallah, alongside the administrative and educational bodies and the families of the boys.
The ceremony opened with clear verses from the Holy Quran, followed by a supplication and then the Lebanese national anthem, as part of a full program in which the Association's secondary schools and institutes took part. Choral and artistic segments and religious poems were presented, expressing the meanings of religious obligation and responsibility, alongside a speech by the boys and an educational debate that reflected the new generation's awareness of the meaning of faith-based belonging.
In his speech, Sayyed Jaafar Fadlallah affirmed that commemorating the birth anniversaries of the Ahl al-Bayt (PBUT) in the month of Sha'ban, up to the birth of Imam Al-Mahdi (AJ), embodies an evocation of the meaning of divine hope in a world that is sinking into oppression and injustice on a global scale. He explained that injustice is no longer merely a set of scattered events, but has become a global order that produces corruption, legitimizes killing and colonization and the seizure of peoples' wealth and dignity, and works to erase human values under false slogans.
He noted that what the world is witnessing today, particularly in Palestine and Gaza, has exposed the reality of global arrogance, which draws no distinction between one sect and another, affirming that the unity of Muslims is the essential condition for confronting this injustice. He also affirmed that religious maturity is a qualitative value aimed at shaping an aware human being connected to God, rather than a human being reduced to a number, and that piety is the true provision for building the individual, society and civilization.
He saw in the generation entering the age of religious maturity the hope of the future, considering that God Almighty raised this generation in difficult circumstances so that it would be more aware of the reality of an unjust world and of its responsibility within it, placing on institutions, families and society the responsibility of caring for this group, protecting it from a culture of superficiality and triviality, and working to produce a distinctive human being capable of carrying the project of divine justice.
The ceremony concluded with the announcement of the competition results, then the honoring of the boys and the distribution of gifts, amid a faith-filled atmosphere that expressed conscious joy, hope for the future and reliance on God, affirming that the future is built by such people of faith and quality.
