The administration of Al-Bashaer High School, one of Al-Mabarrat's schools, received the director of the French Cultural Centre in Baalbek and Zahle Mrs. Camille Brunel, accompanied by Mrs. Rima Mortada, on a friendly introductory visit. They were received by the school's director Mrs. Itidal Al-Jamal and members of the French language unit at the institution
Brunel noted “Al-Bashaer's distinguished activities, especially what it has accomplished in coordination with the French Cultural Centre”
She praised “the institution's seriousness and its participation in the training taking place at the regional centres and the main centre”, calling on “the institution to coordinate once again in order to carry out some joint educational activities such as the puppet theatre carnival, the DELF and DELF junior courses, class visits, the development courses held remotely, and others
For her part the school's director welcomed Mrs. Brunel's visit, congratulating her on her recent appointment to the management of the two centres
Al-Jamal explained “the reasons for the decline in the numbers of pupils in the French section”, calling “for a study of the possibility of reducing the fees of the courses attended by educators or students, given the difficult economic conditions the area is living through
