The French ambassador to Lebanon Anne Grillo visited Imam Al-Jawad (a.s.) High School in the Bekaa, which belongs to Al-Mabarrat Charitable Association. She was received by the head of the computer science department at the University of Sciences and Arts in Lebanon Dr. Yasser Fadlallah, representing the Director General of Al-Mabarrat Charitable Association, and by the school's director Souad Marrah Al-Moussawi. The meeting was attended by the delegation accompanying her from the French embassy and the French Cultural Centre.

The French ambassador was briefed by the school's director on the progress of the work and the state of Francophonie at the school, as well as on the training needs and the courses that help raise the level of learners in French.

She then toured with the accompanying delegation the secondary section, where she met the secondary certificate students and discussed with them their aspirations and their specialization inclinations. She then moved to the physiotherapy section and the special education classes, where she learned about the methods of treatment and the approaches followed with people with special needs in the educational inclusion section.

The French ambassador also learned about the references and information resources present in the library, and viewed the hundreds of cups won by the school's students over the years in the sports section.

At the close of the visit, Grillo affirmed “the necessity of constant cooperation and continuous twinning between the French embassy and Al-Mabarrat Charitable Association, especially Al-Jawad High School”, noting “the teaching level and the educational resources at the school, as well as the distinction and beauty of the infrastructure arrangements, which contribute to an exceptional, pioneering teaching environment”.
