Al-Mabarrat Charitable Association distributed the eid clothing to 4,600 orphan boys and girls at its care institutions spread across the various Lebanese regions, and also offered the eid food basket to their families.
The clothing comprised: new clothes, footwear, eid gifts, presents and toys, distributed to the orphans while observing the public safety measures.
As for the food basket, it contained necessary food supplies - pulses, oils, tinned goods and others.
On the occasion, the Director General of Al-Mabarrat Dr. Mohammad Baqer Fadlallah affirmed “Al-Mabarrat's continuation in bearing its responsibilities, especially in these difficult circumstances Lebanon is passing through at more than one level”, stressing “the importance of the eid clothing and eid food basket project, which seeks to draw a smile on the lips of the orphaned children, to bring joy to their hearts and to meet the families' needs, especially amid these difficult economic circumstances”.
He expressed “his thanks to the people of goodness for their support of the orphans cared for by Al-Mabarrat Charitable Association”, valuing “their keenness to bring delight to their hearts on an occasion whose theme is joy and generosity towards the needy”.
Dr. Fadlallah praised “the exceptional efforts made by those working at Al-Mabarrat in following up the orphans in their homes academically, educationally and in health terms, alongside securing daily iftars for 4,600 orphan boys and girls and their families in their homes throughout the blessed month of Ramadan”. He concluded: “Al-Mabarrat's priority will remain raising a person who is righteous and active in society, educated and diligent, who preserves the quality of life and is always keen to be a good for all people in their society. It will always strive to fortify its society and meet its various needs, however severe and harsh the circumstances become.”
