The Ministry provides coverage for therapy sessions (speech, occupational, physical, psychological, and sensory-motor therapy) based on a contract with the institution. The sessions are delivered according to the terms and conditions specified in the contract, as well as the fee schedule for these sessions outlined in the agreement.

In case the student is uninsured They can benefit from coverage through the Ministry of Health by following the steps outlined below:

• Filling out the application (an external document issued by the Ministry of Health) and attaching a copy of the student’s individual registration certificate, along with a medical report from the specialist physician regarding their need for the service (speech, occupational, physical, psychological, or sensory-motor therapy). The report is then sent to the specialist physician for signature and approval, followed by the supervising physician at the Ministry of Health (as designated and communicated by the ministry), and finally, the application is submitted to the ministry for final approval.
• After the Ministry of Health approves the therapy coverage, the application along with the approval is received, and the required sessions begin according to programs prepared by the institution and scheduled at their designated times, based on the needs specified by the specialist physician.
• The student’s condition is assessed by the therapists, and a diagnostic report is issued and submitted to the therapeutic coordination team for review and feedback. The report is stored in the student’s file at the center, and if the student is enrolled in the institution’s schools, a copy of the report is also placed in their school file.
• Student and therapist attendance is documented daily according to the program.  It is kept for the purpose of tracking the number of sessions to calculate them according to the number specified by the specialist physician.
• The therapist documents the progress of each session daily on a form to define the goals to be achieved and the skills to be acquired according to the needs of each student.
• At the end of each month, invoices for the Ministry of Health (external documents from the Ministry: Form No. 1, Form No. 2, and Form No. 3) are prepared and submitted to the Ministry’s Financial Audit Department before the 10th of each month.
• After the completion of the prescribed number of sessions, the therapist prepares a developmental report for each student and submits it to the therapeutic coordination team for feedback. A copy is kept in the student’s file at the center and another copy is provided to the parents. If the student is enrolled in the institution’s schools, a copy is also stored in their educational file with the principal.

Based on a contract with the Lebanese Ministry of Defense – Lebanese Army, beneficiaries from army families and others covered by the Lebanese Army are received after obtaining a referral from the Military Medical Directorate indicating the number and type of required sessions.

The names of the beneficiaries are entered into the center’s program, and the therapist conducts the sessions, documenting them daily on the session progress form.   

At the end of the sessions specified by the Army, the therapist prepares an evaluation report for the beneficiary and submits it to the therapeutic coordination team for review and feedback, determining whether continuation of the sessions is needed or should be stopped. The report is then submitted to the Army for approval and renewal if necessary.
