Cultural and Missionary Activities
The Al-Mabarat Charity Association, through its cultural and missionary centers, is concerned with cultural, intellectual, and religious issues in order to contribute to building a cultured, mission-driven individual. To achieve these goals, these centers commemorate Islamic and public occasions, organize diverse monthly seminars, hold weekly discussion circles, and provide daily Islamic lessons in mosques. Additionally, they organize courses on Quranic recitation and Tajweed, public competitions, literacy programs for the elderly, and cultural, educational, and recreational courses for young men and women during the summer season.
The cultural centers at Al-Mabarat are dedicated to spreading Islamic mission-driven thought through various means and methods. They work on preparing and printing Islamic books and publications, in addition to distributing them in Lebanon, the Arab world, and the Islamic world through their participation in Arabic and international book fairs.
Al-Mabarat also offers public library services through the public library of His Eminence, the Scholar and Reference, Sayyed Muhammad Hussein Fadlallah, with two branches in Haret Hreik in the southern suburbs and in the city of Tyre, southern Lebanon. These libraries provide knowledge in all its forms, including books, references, encyclopedias, atlases, dictionaries, and periodicals on various topics. They also offer modern means of accessing knowledge, such as the internet and spaces designated for children. Additionally, they provide daily newspapers, weekly magazines, and monthly and quarterly journals, facilitating the necessary services for students to review their university and school lessons. Cultural dialogues, led by a group of experienced thinkers, are also organized.
