Al-Mabarrat Charitable Association organized a charity iftar ceremony for orphans from various regions, under the patronage of the ambassador Salwa Ghaddar Younes, at Imam Al-Khoei Mabarrat, in which children took part from a number of care institutions: Imam Ali Mabarrat - Al-Sayyeda Mariam Mabarrat - Imam Al-Khoei Mabarrat - Al-Hadi Institution for Hearing and Visual Impairment and Language and Communication Disorders - the Social Care Institutions in Lebanon, the Islamic Orphanage - the Nazek Hariri complex - the SOS Children's Villages Association - the Druze Orphans' Home - the Mohammad Khaled Social Institutions - Al-Kawthar High School - Imam Al-Mujtaba High School - the Social Renaissance League.

After the national anthem, Ramadan hymns by the arts troupe of Al-Sayyeda Mariam Mabarrat, followed by a scouting and artistic segment presented by the Al-Mabarrat Scouts, then a speech for Al-Mabarrat delivered by the president of the Women's Body Fadia Diab, who said: “You have come from all the regions of Lebanon to form the most beautiful image - the image of love, innocence and joy. You are the hope we dream of, of building the state of love, goodness and peace; for with love homelands are built, and hand in hand we raise the banner of Lebanon.”

Ghaddar
As for Ghaddar, she said: “This is not the first time I have had the honour of patronizing an iftar celebration of this institution, whose journey and whose continuous successes we have accompanied, and whose celebration we are honoured to patronize so as to be witnesses to the humanitarian duties it carries out and the assistance it provides in all fields.”

She added: “Every year we see more of the young women and men of the future, possessors of talents and human capacities that the specialists at the association work to develop. These students represent latent energies that the people of experience and knowledge at the home watch over so as to release them; they are people of accomplishments that the officials at Al-Mabarrat are concerned to encourage, to bring out and to bring into the open - in education, culture, society and work.”
