The University of Sciences and Arts in Lebanon (USAL) held a ceremony to announce the results of the student competitions for the current academic year, under the patronage of the university's president Dr. Mohammad Reda Fadlallah and the chairman of the board of ASTRO TRADING LLC Mr. Ali Khanafer, with the participation of members of the teaching and administrative bodies and a crowd of students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ceremony opened with the Lebanese national anthem and the university anthem, then the university's president delivered a speech in which he pointed to \u201cthe efforts made to strengthen young people's talents\u201d, commending \u201cthe students' humanitarian, cultural and academic initiatives and appreciating their talents and their giving\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After that the prizes were distributed with the participation of the faculty deans and department heads, as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

First place: student Rawan Harshi<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Second place: student Hiba Dehaini<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Third place: student Remy Wehbe<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Arabic oratory competition:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

First place: student Rua Sharafeddine<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Second place: student Hiba Dehaini<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Third place: student Maya Raad<\/p>\n\n\n\n

English oratory competition:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

First place: student Maryam Jashi<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Second place: student Nawal Al-Sayed Saleh<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Third place: student Haidar Fadlallah<\/p>\n\n\n\n

English writing competition:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
