A delegation from the educational institutions and central departments of Al-Mabarrat Charitable Association, headed by the Director General Dr. Mohammad Baqer Fadlallah, visited the Minister of Education and Higher Education Dr. Rima Karami at her office in the Ministry, to congratulate her on taking up the education portfolio.
The meeting discussed many current educational issues, foremost among them the new curricula. In this context, Dr. Fadlallah affirmed \u201cthe readiness of Al-Mabarrat schools to cooperate and offer the expertise available, in order to contribute to any pilot implementation of these curricula\u201d, stressing \u201cAl-Mabarrat's firm belief in the importance of an active partnership between educational institutions and the Ministry, in order to advance the education system\u201d.
The delegation also briefed Minister Karami on the distinguished academic and research role played by the University of Sciences and Arts in Lebanon (USAL), which is part of Al-Mabarrat Charitable Association. They reviewed \u201cthe distinctive academic programmes and specializations the university offers, which meet students' aspirations and contribute effectively to supporting and encouraging scientific research that serves Lebanese society\u201d.
For her part, Minister Karami praised \u201cthe credibility and good reputation Al-Mabarrat schools enjoy throughout their humanitarian and educational journey\u201d, affirming \u201cthe pivotal importance of the role these leading educational institutions play, and the positive spirit and constructive cooperation Al-Mabarrat shows toward national educational issues\u201d, and stressing \u201cthe need for joint efforts between the Ministry and the educational institutions working in Lebanon to achieve the ambitious goals of the educational development sought\u201d
