Al-Mabarrat schools opened the \u201cEighth Spring Activities Festival\u201d at the Ali Al-Akbar Institute in Doha Al-Huss, with the participation of 2,012 pupils from all the teaching cycles across Al-Mabarrat's academic schools and vocational institutes, and attended by the Director General of Al-Mabarrat Charitable Association Dr. Mohammad Baqer Fadlallah, the directors of the educational, vocational, care and cultural institutions, and the heads of the central departments.
The festival comprised 60 competitions across the following subjects: science, mathematics, technology, robotics and artificial intelligence, translation, arts and theatre, Arabic, French and English, stories and reading, drawing, the environment, sport, community service, Nahj Al-Balagha, the Treatise on Rights of Imam Zain Al-Abidin, and the Holy Quran. They were judged by 60 judging panels, with 150 organizing teams and 219 judges.
The festival opened with the Lebanese national anthem, then the Director General of Al-Mabarrat, Dr. Mohammad Baqer Fadlallah, delivered a speech in which he said: \u201cThis festival is not merely a passing seasonal event; it is a deep educational act carrying at its core a clear vision: that talent is watered only by care, that creativity blossoms only through confidence, and that building a human being begins with discovering their abilities, guiding them and providing the environment that refines and elevates them. At Al-Mabarrat we look at every gifted pupil as a small pioneering project that needs someone to listen to them, believe in them and take them by the hand toward horizons wider than repetition and stagnation.
He noted that \u201cthe fields of excellence for the children of Al-Mabarrat schools have not been confined to this festival. They are laden with gold, silver and bronze medals and with financial and honorary prizes from the National Authority for Science, in which Al-Mabarrat school teams took part, the national robotics competitions NRC and ARC, the Microsoft competition, the Kangaroo mathematics competition, the mathematics olympiad at AUB, the Lebanon school sports championship and others, in many external competitions in which Al-Mabarrat pupils led the way and carried off the prizes\u201d.
He continued: \u201cHere the eighth annual Spring Festival competitions form a milestone within the atmosphere of Al-Mabarrat Week. This rich experience has developed with the passing years, the journey has advanced and the challenges have grown. Our sixty competitions are renewed across fifteen subjects and are met each year with something new that enriches this long-standing tradition, with numbers slightly above two thousand pupils from Al-Mabarrat's institutions, who have come from the far Bekaa to the far South by way of Beirut and the Mountain to compete in languages, sciences, mathematics, technology, arts and theatre, social studies, social service, sport and the environment, with variations in the subjects at times.
He pointed out that \u201cwhat is both old and new today is the variety of operational projects, robotics and STEAM activities, and the detail here is long. All of this helps develop technical and scientific skills, as well as life skills in deep learning such as critical and creative thinking, design thinking and teamwork, which prepares the pupils and children of Al-Mabarrat for an educational and professional future filled with success and distinction, so as to enrich life with creative, innovative and mission-driven minds brimming with humanity\u201d.
He addressed the students, saying: \u201cYour talent is a blessing, so refine it with diligence, direct it toward good, and rise with it for people's sake, not above them. Learn to do your work well in silence, to celebrate achievement with humility, and to let your distinction be a source of inspiration rather than superiority. In our eyes, all of you are winners, victors and high achievers. You are the builders of the future, the voice of Al-Mabarrat and its message walking on the earth. You are the beloved of Al-Mabarrat's founder, the religious authority Sayyed Mohammad Hussein Fadlallah, and at today's festival we ask God to raise his standing, and we remember him in the competition \u201cTo You, Beloved One\u201d. So act on his counsel when he used to address you: \u201cMy sons and daughters, I want you to make a covenant with God and say: we shall learn more, and we shall succeed through knowledge more\u201d..<\/p>\n\n\n\n
