The University of Sciences and Arts in Lebanon (USAL) celebrated the graduation of its students for 2025, at a ceremony held at Al-Saha, the Lebanese Heritage Village, attended by a number of municipal presidents, the president and members of the university's board of trustees, educational, cultural and local figures, and representatives of civil associations, alongside a large gathering of parents and friends of the university.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The ceremony opened with the Lebanese national anthem and the university anthem, with the segments presented by the broadcaster Randla Jabbour. The President of the University, Dr. Mohammad Reda Fadlallah, then delivered a speech in which he said:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cToday you are the fruit of this effort. Congratulations on this success, which we are all proud of. You are our pride and our asset, and our ambassadors to society.\u201d
He spoke about the university's journey, which met challenges with determination and resolve, affirming that the university continued to carry out its educational mission despite every difficulty, through a stimulating environment, a smooth transition to distance learning, and a return with greater vitality once stability came.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He noted that the university is preparing to launch master's programmes soon, as part of its academic and research development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Student Maya Raad then delivered a speech on behalf of the graduates, in which she said:
\u201cThe university was not merely a place we frequented, but a temporary homeland that brought us together, embraced our energies, and taught us how to be\u2026 and how to love what we are.\u201d
She expressed her own and her colleagues' gratitude to everyone who supported them on their educational journey, from teachers and administration to families.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The ceremony included a documentary video highlighting the university's role in shaping the student's character, empowering them academically and professionally, and providing opportunities for training and entry into working life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In a moving gesture, honorary certificates were presented to the families of the late students in recognition of their journey and in tribute to their memory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At the close of the ceremony, the graduates received their official certificates amid a festive atmosphere, followed by a special reception in the students' honor embodying the joy of achievement, at the end of one stage and the beginning of another on their path toward the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
