With the end of the academic year, Al-Mabarrat's schools held a meeting of the council of directors at Al-Rahma High School in Nabatieh, in the presence of the directors of the teaching and vocational institutions in the various Lebanese regions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Those meeting discussed the general teaching conditions and what they have come to amid the epidemic and living crisis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The meeting featured an intervention by the Director General of Al-Mabarrat Charitable Association Dr. Mohammad Baqer Fadlallah, in which he affirmed \u201cthe institution's educational role in forming and growing the mission-driven, educated, cultured and aware character\u201d, stressing \u201cthe importance of insisting on learning and education in every circumstance and by more than one method, and of taking upon ourselves a pledge not to retreat in crises but to hold together and stand firm, in the belief that God will make after hardship ease\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Director General of Al-Mabarrat pointed out that \u201cthe epidemic crisis has turned into an opportunity and a new birth, in which the methods of teaching have changed and with which pupils will be more independent and more inclined to self-learning\u201d, noting that \u201cthe change has touched the traditional methods of teaching and assessment, which prompts us to review what was trained on in the administrative development programmes and in the change management workshop, so as to learn more about the way of embracing the working team so that it does not feel discouraged, amid a transitional stage that requires deep thinking\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He continued: \u201cWe are before a stage that requires a will to change and a study of the surrounding fears, especially the fears about the path of work. Here the director must seek help from and benefit by the expertise of others, open more than one door, and not think of discouragement - because the director is the one who realizes dreams and does not kill them, the one who values the self, the one who spreads joy as he saw it in the eyes of the children who were elated at returning to their school, their classes, their peers and their playgrounds.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Fadlallah stressed \u201cthe directors' role and their responsibility towards the school community and its development during these circumstances we are living through\u201d, expressing his hope that \u201ceducational keenness, despite all the crises, may be inseparable from every school and institute - a daily concern whose results we sense in mastery and distinction at more than one level\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He said: \u201cWe still believe in achieving that, because you are bearers of a trust and people of fidelity, on the approach of the founding Marja; and we still believe that goodness endures as long as there are working, struggling arms.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fadlallah concluded: \u201cHere we are living the last days of the academic year, and thanks to all those who laboured, stayed awake and endured in the midst of the crises and their intensification. Al-Mabarrat's schools have borne results in blended teaching and have not hesitated to seize what in-person teaching was possible - and the joy is that the journey of Al-Mabarrat's schools and institutes has proved its success with a high quality that, despite the crises, was not confined to the teaching curricula but went beyond them to developing intellectual and social skills.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
