The Director General of Al-Mabarrat Charitable Association Dr. Mohammad Baqer Fadlallah addressed a message to the teachers on the occasion of Teacher's Day, in which he took up the teachers' conditions \u201camid the coronavirus epidemic and the difficult economic conditions\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Among what his message contained: \u201cThe conditions we are living through have led to the collapse of the requisites of steadfastness in the face of this arduous storm\u201d, noting \u201cthe teacher's firm will, which has been able to storm through these difficulties, to meet pain with work and to spread hope, despite the great burdens imposed by the process of distance learning\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dr. Fadlallah affirmed \u201cthe insistence on facing the challenges at every level with the patience of the prophets and messengers and with the radiance of love for the present and the future\u201d, saying: \u201cTeacher, you have acquitted yourself well in storming the difficulties; you stood meeting pain with work and spreading hope, following the example of the prophets with beautiful patience in the face of hardships and great fortitude in the struggle with fear and dread - and you triumphed through this will: the will of a faith pure for God's sake, and by virtue of your belonging and your sincerity to the mission whose principles and values you committed to, the mission of goodness and good works which the founding Marja established and whose anchorage he creatively and skilfully built(RA)<\/sup> - he who said that in the teacher there is something of the depth of prophethood, and in the supervisor something of the depth of the mission\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Dr. Fadlallah turned to the process of distance learning \u201cand the changes that accompanied it affecting the teacher's role in the teaching process\u201d, affirming that \u201cthe teacher's task has become harder today\u201d. He said: \u201cI wonder - has the closure of the schools because of the epidemic given the teacher rest and lightened the weight of their tasks, or has it increased their fear and anxiety for the learning and growth of their pupils and children?
