The president of the Lebanese University Professor Fouad Ayoub signed a cooperation agreement with Bahman Hospital, aimed at accrediting it as a university hospital for the Faculty of Medical Sciences at the Lebanese University. The signing of the agreement, at the central administration building - Museum, was attended by the Director General of Al-Mabarrat Charitable Association Dr. Mohammad Baqer Fadlallah, the director general of Bahman Hospital Dr. Ali Karim, the director of Al-Mabarrat Doha Sheikh Fouad Khreis, Dr. Hassan Nassar and Dr. Asaad Mhanna; while for the Lebanese University there attended the dean of the Faculty of Medical Sciences Professor Boutros Yared, the director of the neuroscience research centre Dr. Youssef Fares, the general coordinator of the external relations office Dr. Zeinab Saad, Dr. Saada Alameh Assi of the Faculty of Medical Sciences, Dr. Maroun Ghabach and Dr. Jihad Al-Hassan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The agreement provides for developing the medical services at the hospital, clinical medical teaching for students in the various specializations, continuous qualification for doctors after their graduation, keeping pace with everything new in the medical sciences and in disease prevention, in addition to encouraging research in the field of medicine and granting the doctors working at the hospital academic and clinical titles after meeting their conditions according to the criteria adopted at the Faculty of Medical Sciences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The two sides expressed their pleasure at this cooperation for the good it holds for the students of the Faculty of Medical Sciences at the Lebanese University and for the medical body at Bahman Hospital, and stressed the necessity of putting this agreement into effect as quickly as possible, especially amid the spread of the coronavirus epidemic and the urgent logistical and hospital preparations it imposes.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
