We note that this development is what achieved for humanity its progress, its flourishing and its growth at every level, and what achieved for humankind qualitative leaps at the level of its scientific and technical development, which was positively reflected in a person's lifespan, their way of living and the affirming of their existence from a position of strength rather than of weakness. Our mission-driven approach rests on reason and on adherence to the method of rational thinking in all its extensions, and we hope that through your commitment and your awareness you will reach creativity and not merely be imitators. At Al-Mabarrat we work on developing a learner's capacity to produce knowledge and creativity through dialogue, research, stirring awareness, awakening the self and releasing the creative energies, in a way that achieves a positive character able to deal with life's pressures.”

He continued: “Al-Mabarrat's schools carried the banner of knowledge in the darkest circumstances, and they aimed and still aim to build a society founded on participation, on accepting difference and on the ability to express oneself, by building a firm culture of faith-based and civilized values and behaviour. We at Al-Mabarrat will continue to work on building a generation that is skilled in carrying its Islamic thought far from bias and from inheriting the denominational fanaticism that creates a travelling destruction - because today's reality portends many psychological, intellectual and historical complexities upon which a discourse that confuses the truth is being founded.”

He addressed the graduates: “We want you to be the faithful, for this is the way of the great, the eminent and the believers, who are faithful to their teachers

and to everyone who worked on teaching and raising them, and to everyone who gave them something of their spirit, their knowledge and their life. Be faithful to the one who founded the edifices of Al-Mabarrat; embody the dream in the details of his life; come to know his thought - he who was fuel for the mind, a pulse for the heart and a radiance for the spirit; his thought was human and universal. Do not listen to those who twist words among the falsifiers, and to those who sell their hereafter for their worldly life among the backward and the superstitious, who buy consciences and commit falsehoods. Be as he said to you: Be those who work on developing their minds and who give their minds every freedom of thought; and take knowledge only from one who possesses the trust of knowledge, the authenticity of knowledge, the depth of knowledge and the depth of experience.”
In closing, certificates of appreciation were distributed to the teachers and to the students being honoured.

In Al-Khiyam
In the Marjayoun area, Issa Bin Maryam High School and the Prophet Ibrahim Mabarra - Al-Khiyam held an honouring ceremony for their successful and high-achieving pupils, under the patronage of Sheikh Hussein Al-Khishin and in the presence of religious, social, municipal and educational figures.
Sheikh Al-Khishin delivered a speech in which he affirmed that we must strive to make strength in ourselves and in our society, for without strength a person cannot attain their aims in this life.
