The Faculty of Education at the University of Sciences and Arts in Lebanon (one of the institutions of Al-Mabarrat Charitable Association) launched the \u201cContinuous Training\u201d programme for the year 2016-2017, which includes a series of interactive training workshops in education and teaching.
The programme targets teachers, academics and educational counsellors in teaching and academic institutions and in institutions specialized in working with people with special needs.
The importance of this programme lies in its reliance on specialists and educational and academic experts from the various Lebanese universities, within the framework of benefiting from the most important educational experiences and expertise in Lebanon and placing their experience within reach of those interested in educational and teaching matters.
The workshops were as follows:
- The pedagogy of error and its importance in the system of teaching and learning: how to turn conceptual errors into correct scientific concepts
- The role of the class teacher in detecting signs of ill health among pupils, and early intervention strategies\u00a0

- How to be a teacher-counsellor: strategies for building life skills in learners\u00a0
- Strategies for using the religious story with children\u00a0
- Converting abstract concepts into mental images\u00a0
- Building critical thinking in learners: its strategies and the patterns of its use in curricula\u00a0
