The \u201cLebanese Friendship Gathering for Christian-Islamic Dialogue - Tasaluh\u201d marked the day of \u201cNational Faces\u201d at Saint Joseph University - the humanities campus - Damascus Road, proceeding from the consolidation of \u201ccoexistence among the Lebanese\u201d through spreading the culture of diversity, openness, mutual acquaintance and acceptance of the other. More than 400 pupils from 23 schools took part, attending with their teachers and presenting research and presentations addressing Lebanese figures who contributed to building the homeland.
The day began with a speech by Rabab Mansour on behalf of the members of \u201cTasaluh\u201d, in which she welcomed the participants and summarized the day's programme for them. The students were divided into groups with a view to mixing and getting to know one another closely, through participation in a \u201cpaper rally\u201d prepared by the organizers, whose atmosphere was marked by cheerfulness and positive interaction.
Then the pupils presented their works before a panel composed of: Professor Antoine Messarra, Dr Souad Al-Hakim, Dr Ahmad Hoteit, Sheikh Dr Mohammad Al-Naqri and the secretary general of \u201cTasaluh\u201d the lawyer Ziad Chalhoub; the segment was presented by Nasser Al-Solh. Afterwards the pupils moved on to a lunch break, followed by a group photograph from the air in which the participants wrote the word \u201cTasaluh\u201d with their bodies.
