Allama Sayyed Ali Fadlallah today visited \u201cImam Ali Bin Abi Talib High School in Maaroub - the south\u201d, where he was received by the high school's principal Abbas Tarhini, members of the teaching and administrative bodies and the students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Fadlallah toured the high school's classes, seeing how the work was going, and met the outstanding students and valued \u201ctheir excellence and their effort in study\u201d, calling for \u201ccontinuing in this excellence\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He also met the teaching body, praising \u201cthe effort, sacrifice and devotion they exert in their work for the development of this institution and its advance towards the better\u201d, and affirming that \u201cthese institutions become complete, develop and grow through the joining of the efforts of all who work in them\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Afterwards Fadlallah delivered a speech in which he stressed \u201cthe importance of prayer and its spiritual dimensions, and its role in strengthening the individual's faith personality\u201d, calling on \u201cthe students to use the method of scientific criticism founded on objective bases in assessing matters and in taking a position on any event\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He then visited Imam Ali Mabarrat, where he was received by its director Hassan Hassan, and the students presented artistic and theatrical performances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Fadlallah received a delegation from the Bir Al-Abed area - the southern suburb, which set out to him \u201cwhat the area suffers in terms of power cuts, the misuse of water on the one hand and the waste taking place on the other, and the failure of some state institutions to shoulder their responsibilities in that regard\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Before the delegation he affirmed \u201cthe necessity of our bearing responsibility in respecting the laws, because violating any law connected with people's affairs represents an aggression against people's social and health security and the like\u201d, calling for \u201cpreserving the state's public property, as being the property of the people and of society\u201d, and stressing that the state's institutions must \u201cbear their full responsibility in following up people's social and security affairs alike\u201d.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
