<\/figure>Al-Mabarrat Charitable Association held an honouring ceremony for the president of the Women's Body at Al-Mabarrat, Mrs. Fadia Diab, in the presence of social and educational figures, the directors of Al-Mabarrat's departments and institutions, members of the Women's Body, members of the boards of friends of Al-Mabarrat, and a delegation from the family of the woman being honoured, at the Lady Khadija Al-Kubra Mabarra in Beirut.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The association's Director General Dr. Mohammad Baqer Fadlallah delivered a speech on the occasion in which he praised \u201cthe giving of Mrs. Diab, which extended over more than 38 years in the service of Al-Mabarrat and its charitable and humanitarian journey\u201d, holding that honouring her is \u201can honouring of the human woman who founded, with her companions, the Women's Body at Al-Mabarrat, and who exerted great efforts with them, dissolving herself in the work of good in order to bring out the image of Al-Mabarrat as a mission - the mission of doing good to people, spreading throughout Lebanon and extending in humanity beyond it\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Fadlallah noted women's pioneering role in \u201cbuilding Al-Mabarrat in its various educational, social, scientific and cultural aspects\u201d, holding that \u201cAl-Mabarrat's women have proved their ability to excel and to set out towards every horizon to make a better life within it, and we at Al-Mabarrat will continue to complement one another, men and women\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Fadlallah spoke of Mrs. Diab's relationship with the Marja Sayyed Mohammad Hussein Fadlallah, saying: \u201cFor him she was the example of the believing, working, struggling and trustworthy woman, and he was reassured by her opinion in everything relating to her work in the Women's Body of Al-Mabarrat.\u201d
He added: \u201cHer plays, which toured Lebanon from Beirut to the Bekaa, the South and the North, were a distinctive artistic mark of creativity, art and delicacy of feeling, a field for rehabilitating the orphans and strengthening their self-confidence, a source of admiration and appreciation from artists and theatre experts, and a message expressing the reality of Al-Mabarrat to society and to those concerned in this country.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He concluded, saying: \u201cMrs. Fadia Diab deserves a great deal from us in appreciation of her giving in the service of Al-Mabarrat's mission. Thanks must also be extended to the women friends of the Lady Khadija Mabarra and to her companions in the Women's Body, who lived with her motherhood, sisterhood, experience, hardship and the joy of achievement. Thanks go as well to the administration of the Lady Khadija Mabarra, which hosted this ceremony.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is noted that the ceremony was presented by the journalist Safaa Muslimani, and featured a speech on behalf of the board of women friends of the Lady Khadija Mabarra delivered by Mrs. Loubna Al-Husseini, followed by a speech by the woman being honoured in which she thanked the ceremony's participants and organizers. A report was then presented containing testimonies from Mrs. Diab's friends about her charitable journey, and the ceremony closed with an anthem written by the woman being honoured and performed by the Mabarra's artistic troupe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
