The Riyadi Club, champion of Lebanon in basketball for men and women for the 2014-2015 season, held its first annual charity iftar in the President Saeb Salam hall in Manara on Sunday, in the presence of a number of members of the yellow club's administrative committee, headed by the club's deputy president Tammam Jaroudi and the secretary Mazen Tabbara. The children who came from the Islamic Orphanage Association, Al-Mabarrat Charitable Association and the Dr Mohammad Khaled Social Institutions, numbering 120 (boys and girls), were received by most of the Riyadi players, men and women; the ceremony was under the patronage of AL-RIYADI Cares. Immediately after the iftar the president of the Riyadi Club Hisham Jaroudi arrived, and the youngsters had their share of fun and joy for a full hour, as a special sports troupe presented wonderful acrobatic displays that dazzled everyone present, up to the taking of commemorative photographs with Riyadi's male and female stars and President Jaroudi, and then the distribution of some commemorative gifts to the children, among them caps bearing the club's emblem.
