On the occasion of Teachers' Day, the Directorate of Education held a ceremony honoring the educational supervisors and the members of the Directorate of Education, attended by the Director General of Al-Mabarrat Charitable Association Dr. Mohammad Baqer Fadlallah, the heads of departments and sections at the General Administration, and members of the Directorate of Education.
The ceremony opened with a blessed recitation from the Holy Quran by Sheikh Fouad Khreiss, followed by a speech on behalf of the supervisors delivered by Ms. Noha Wehbi, in which she spoke about the role of educational supervision in the field.
The Director of Educational Supervision, Mr. Wael Fadlallah, then delivered a speech carrying heartfelt and educational messages, closing with special appreciation for the supervisors' fruitful efforts in supporting the educational process.
The floor then went to the Coordinator of the Directorate of Education, who affirmed that the supervisors are an essential pillar in advancing the educational environment and safeguarding its mission.
The ceremony closed with a speech by the Director General, Dr. Mohammad Baqer Fadlallah, in which he praised the great effort the supervisors make in the field, stressing the importance of investing in training and qualifying the coordinators as an effective instrument in developing schools, and drawing in his remarks on the story of the Prophet Jacob (peace be upon him) and the patience, steadfastness and sense of responsibility it holds.
The celebration also included an interactive competition and the distribution of prizes.
