Al-Mabarrat Charitable Association held the graduation ceremony of the nineteenth class of Al-Kawthar High School students who passed the official examinations for the general secondary certificate, and the honouring of its students who passed the intermediate certificate, at the Al-Imamain Al-Hasanain complex in Haret Hreik, in the presence of educational and social figures, families and students.

Fadlallah
The association's Director General Dr. Mohammad Baqer Fadlallah said: “Blessed be you, dear ones - the dear ones moving up to the secondary stage and those of the secondary section. Blessed be your journey into the world of ambitious youth with will and determination; the believing youth, strong and immune with what they hold of capacities and energies unshaken by the storms of the challenges that batter our world with every kind of wave, unruliness and loss. At your universities you will face open atmospheres in which there is no supervision but self-supervision.”

He added: “Benefit from the faith-based thought on which you were raised, which makes the safe, settled life that spreads love and peace and brings about a dignified life filled with truthfulness, love, goodness and fidelity, founded on cooperation, understanding and participation. Reject every thought you will face in your university and future life that walks among people with strife, bequeaths revenge and justifies theft, betrayal, lying and exploitation.”

He continued: “Thanks and appreciation must be extended to this good, believing group - administration, teachers, administrators and staff - in gratitude and fidelity for their sincerity, their dedication, their efforts, their vigils and their diligent follow-up, until this season and the seasons before it brought forth this giving, these bounties and these abundant yields upon the threshing floors of Al-Mabarrat's schools.”

He said: “And returning to where we began with Al-Mabarrat in its fortieth anniversary: forty years in which it has built edifices of goodness - for orphans in their care, for the poor in their needs, for the elderly in the autumn of their lives, for people with disabilities in bringing out their creativity, for the sick in easing their pains, for worshippers in their mosques, and for the generations in their quality, advanced teaching that matches the best institutions in Lebanon.”

Fadlallah concluded: “To Al-Kawthar High School's family, you have sincere love and prayers from me and from all those in charge at Al-Mabarrat. Peace from a spirit delighted at this success, this brilliance and this leadership - and God will not waste the reward of one who does good work.”

Qbeisi
For her part the executive director of Al-Kawthar High School Rana Qbeisi said: “Congratulations to you on this success you deserve; you toiled and so the success was good. Your success today is yours; it is a bridge to a new world that sums up all the diversity that distinguishes our homeland Lebanon.”

Qbeisi concluded: “Companions of the road and the work, partners in success and joy, we congratulate you on the success of your own flesh and blood - a success that fills the eye and the heart and inspires pride, because it is the fruit of a stage that carried with it something of the freshness of their lives. Today we return to you the trust we carried for 15 years, in which we worked with our utmost effort to build and guide their character. So we entrust to you Al-Mabarrat's mission, which will shine through them, and we entrust to you the message of Islam, whose image they will reflect wherever they alight.”

In closing, shields and certificates were distributed to the students being honoured.
