The administration of the Imam Al-Jawad and Al-Kadhim High Schools organized(PBUH) a graduation ceremony for 148 of its students who completed the secondary stage, at the school's outdoor theatre in the presence of a gathering of municipal, religious, educational and social figures, families and students.

The school attained fourth, sixth, eighth, ninth and tenth places in the Bekaa, and achieved a success rate of 100% in the life sciences and general sciences branches, with distinction rates ranging between good and very good at 76%, and 93.8% in economics and sociology.

The ceremony featured a speech by the high-achieving students, who thanked their institution's administration, their teachers and their families for the efforts they had made for them so that they might reach the brilliant results they achieved.

Then came the speech of the Director General of Al-Mabarrat Charitable Association Dr. Mohammad Baqer Fadlallah, which read: “Dear honoured ones, we have come today to pour out to you what fills our breasts of delight and joy at what you achieved in the general secondary certificate examinations, with top grades in the Bekaa and grades close to those of the top students in Lebanon.”

He added: “You have kept your promise and preserved Al-Mabarrat's mission, which wanted you to be a distinctive mark amid the challenges of today's world, through faith, moral values and the various sciences.”

He continued: “We at Al-Mabarrat resolved to teach a learner how to invest what they have learned by developing the mind and thinking, hoping that through your commitment and your awareness you will reach creativity and not merely be imitators.”

He addressed the families, saying: “To the dear families who trusted Al-Mabarrat and Imam Al-Jawad (a.s.) High School - here it is today presenting them to the universities as young men and women filled with optimism, confidence and reassurance, carrying the torch of success in one hand and the torch of lighting a bright future for society in the other.”

He concluded: “All congratulations to you at this pioneering school on the results achieved, which are considered the truest expression of the dedication and the great contributions of the administrations and the teachers, who kept their promise and their pledge… and all appreciation to them for the level of professionalism they have reached, which bore this success and distinction.”

This was followed by a speech by the governor of Baalbek-Hermel Mr. Bachir Khodr, in which he affirmed “that striving for knowledge and learning is a form of obedience to God Almighty”, congratulating “the school, its administration, its teachers and its students on the honourable results it achieved - and this is not surprising from those who follow the mission of His Eminence the Marja Allama Sayyed Mohammad Hussein Fadlallah (may God be pleased with him)”. Khodr concluded his speech with a word of guidance to the students and the families regarding choosing the specialization that suits a student's inclinations on the one hand and the requirements of the labour market on the other.

The ceremony closed with the distribution of certificates and shields to the graduates and the taking of a commemorative photograph.
