Al-Mabarrat Charitable Association is holding the opening ceremony of the Al-Mustafa Health and Social Centre under the patronage of His Eminence Allama Sayyed Ali Fadlallah, at five in the afternoon on Saturday 23 April 2016 in the town of Kabrikha, south Lebanon.
The centre consists of two floors, each floor having about 8 rooms. It seeks to secure the best health and social care for the patients of the area and its surroundings, and provides them with preventive, diagnostic and therapeutic health services, as well as securing mental health services and services for learning difficulties for children and their families. To achieve this aim the centre, with its whole team of administrators, doctors, male and female nurses and workers, is committed to working as a cooperative team according to the principle of quality and continuous improvement and in an atmosphere of effective, good communication, with competence and sincerity, proceeding from respect for the individual and the preservation of his dignity.
The centre provides the necessary medicines, treatment and follow-up of patients in emergency cases, and organizes regular awareness campaigns about various diseases, especially communicable, infectious and epidemic ones. The centre also secures the assistance and diagnosis needed for learners in the official and private schools (behavioural guidance, occupational therapy…), in addition to providing programmes of health, mental health and learning difficulties, as well as primary preventive health care in the following specializations: ophthalmology, paediatrics, dentistry, ear, nose and throat medicine, general health, internal medicine, an eye clinic, the provision of spectacles, examinations for children, gynaecological examinations, vaccinations, the performance of minor surgery, and the provision of services specific to those with learning difficulties, in addition to first aid for emergency cases, not to mention the provision of physiotherapy.
