Asiri
In conclusion the ambassador Asiri said to the correspondent of the “National News Agency”: “Through you I address my great thanks for what I have sensed from all the members of this people, with all their sects and their political forces without any exception, of affection, love and esteem for the Kingdom and for its wise leadership. What those present and the media have expressed reflects exactly the depth of this relationship, which has no choice but to continue; and the relationship is one of affection and humanity before it is diplomatic.”

Asiri added: “The attendance of all the Lebanese from the north of Lebanon to its south reflects exactly the extent of their love for King Abdullah and the extent of their love, appreciation and congratulations to King Salman on taking up this banner, and their feeling towards the royal family and the people over this great loss we have suffered in circumstances in which we were in urgent need of King Abdullah's presence. But King Salman Bin Abdulaziz has taken up this banner, and he understands it completely and is skilled at leading and managing it; he was not far from decision-making in the Kingdom and from the Lebanese file, and his relations with many of the political, intellectual, religious and social forces in Lebanon are distinguished. Consequently we shall witness the continuity of this friendship, this distinguished relationship and this affection between the leaderships of the two peoples.”

He concluded: “It is a source of pride for us to see this love translated into deeds and not words, and in the attendance we have seen over three days, which did not stop for a single minute. Great thanks to all the Lebanese and to the media outlets.”
