The president of “Al-Mabarrat Charitable Association” Allama Sayyed Ali Fadlallah patronized the ceremony held by Al-Rahma High School in Kfarjoz on the occasion of its girls putting on the hijab, under the title “A Love from the Fragrance of Fatima”, in the presence of the representative of MP Yassine Jaber, Jihad Jaber; the representative of the Nabatieh municipality Rabih Taqsh; the educational official of “Hezbollah” in the second district Safa Safa; the school's director Soulaf Hashem; the director of the Imam Al-Rida Mabarra Rabiaa Faqih; and families and figures.
At the outset the Holy Quran and the national anthem, a welcome by Fatima Hariri and filmed presentations of the veiled girls. Fadlallah delivered a speech in which he said: “It is our responsibility to prepare our girls to bear responsibility, to prepare them for this spirit and to work to build this spirit in them. We and society think with this spirit, and here we have built and are building institutions filled with this spirit. We are not building - as some claim - sectarian institutions that seek to isolate people from one another; we want to build committed institutions that are open to one another, that build bridges of communication with others, that always think of the common denominators, that always think of how to find an opportunity for encounter with the other and that never miss an opportunity for encounter. People are of two kinds: either a brother to you in religion or your like in creation. Therefore, our girls, we place a great responsibility upon you - but we are with you: the institution, the association, the families and society will stand with you and want you to be pioneers in your society in every field: pioneers in keeping faith with God, because God loves and it is His right upon us that we love Him; in knowledge we want you to be pioneers; in preserving the homeland we want you to be pioneers; in preserving responsibility we want you to be pioneers; and we want you to be pioneers in taking a stance and in the firmness of that stance before corruption and before deviation.”
After that Fadlallah, Sheikh Khreis and Hashem distributed gifts to the veiled girls.
