The Council of Friends of the Al-Hadi Foundation organized a series of visits to the Al-Hadi Foundation for Hearing and Visual Impairment, Language and Communication Disorders, in which social figures took part - engineers, doctors, university lecturers and influential people in society who support the causes of persons with disabilities.
The visits included a tour of the foundation's facilities to learn, explore and engage with the foundation's pupils and children. It covered the classrooms and the teaching and vocational sections, the studios and the various workshops, with the aim of seeing the students' work, their teaching activities and their ways and methods of learning, as well as the therapy clinics that support learning and the rooms for developmental and independence skills - to learn about the students' innovations in their projects and their artistic and musical skills, handicrafts and artisan work, and the wax and soap workshops.
During the visits the delegations praised the distinctive services the foundation provides through its complete professional team, which accompanies the students through their different stages of learning up to full integration into society and the labour market.
These delegations pointed to the importance of supporting the foundation and of spreading a culture of community support for its sustainability, since it takes on a great file that the state is unable to carry, so that it may carry on fulfilling its mission in these difficult circumstances, in the service of a group of those with needs who are the most in need in society, in order to establish them in the various aspects of life and achieve their full integration.
