The teacher Hala Taleb of Al-Hadi Institution for Hearing and Visual Impairment and Language and Communication Disorders won third place in the second edition of the Arab Coding Week event organized by the Arab Organization for Education, Culture and Science (ALECSO), in partnership with the Tunisian Association for Educational Initiatives and the Egyptian National Commission for Education, Science and Culture, under the title “Artificial Intelligence and Protecting the Environment”.

ALECSO granted the teacher Taleb, who took part in the honouring ceremony held by the organization in Tunisia, a certificate and a commemorative shield in the “Golden Activity” category, awarded to teachers who organized the best activity with their students, whether in the classroom or outside it, related to the subject of coding.

The ceremony was attended by the Tunisian Minister of Education Dr. Fethi Sellaouti, the director general of ALECSO Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, Arab ambassadors, journalists, and those active in the field of education and culture - educators, directors of schools and institutes, coordinators, trainers and judges - with the participation of more than two million Arabs, more than 6,000 schools and more than 50,000 teachers from the various Arab countries. At the close of the ceremony the teacher Taleb distributed commemorative gifts to those present from the products of the institution's students - soap, candles, drawings and environmental bags - along with leaflets introducing the institution and the services it provides. Many figures expressed their wish to visit the institution and learn about it.
