Al-Mabarrat's schools and institutes affirmed that the educational process continues despite the difficult circumstances Lebanon is going through, stressing their commitment to their vision of “mission-driven human development” and to pupils' right to learn whatever the challenges.
In a message addressed to parents and partners in the educational journey, they explained that the decision to continue teaching was taken in the first week of the war, out of an ethical commitment to the pupils, with the educational teams working to overcome obstacles to ensure that their studies were not interrupted.
Al-Mabarrat explained that it adopted flexible educational plans that take the exceptional circumstances into account. It began in March with a phase of consolidating what pupils had already learned, before moving on to delivering complete educational content covering the various subjects, alongside psychological support programs and faith-based content to strengthen pupils' emotional resilience.
The educational institutions also diversified their teaching pathways between synchronous and asynchronous learning, ensuring continuity of learning for everyone, in parallel with opening in-person classes for those able to attend, at the “Messenger of Love” School in Jbeil and “Al-Abrar Secondary School” in Khaldeh.
As for results, Al-Mabarrat revealed that the share of pupils following their studies exceeded 90% out of some 23,000 pupils, while the specialized teams continue their efforts to reach pupils who temporarily dropped out and enroll them in suitable pathways.
It noted that it managed to complete close to 80% of the curriculum, thanks to making use of all the school year's days and shortening holiday periods, which made it possible to focus on completing the core objectives, while setting out plans to address learning gaps upon the return to in-person teaching.
Al-Mabarrat concluded by affirming that this stage goes beyond the educational dimension to safeguarding children's right to a future, expressing confidence in parents' role in supporting the resilience of this educational mission.
