We will remain committed to striving diligently to meet our people's needs and to support them
The Director General of Al-Mabarrat Charitable Association Dr. Mohammad Baqer Fadlallah addressed a message to Al-Mabarrat's staff and volunteers in which he commended their pivotal role in providing relief and care to displaced families amid the difficult circumstances the homeland is passing through. His message said:
Amid the harsh circumstances buffeting our beloved homeland, and despite the immense tragedies we are living through in the face of an enemy that kills civilians, scatters families, destroys homes and kills dreams, Al-Mabarrat's role comes in the arena of bringing relief to people and safeguarding dignity. To the dear Al-Mabarrat family, we ask God that you be well, and we send a greeting of thanks and appreciation to those who still feel their responsibilities - those who have taken upon themselves the responsibility of relief in all its forms: material, care, educational and health - and who have extended a helping hand to those torn apart by the machine of war, and given their time and effort to ease the suffering of the displaced who have lost their dreams, their homes and their loved ones…
I address you, my dear ones - staff and volunteers in all of Al-Mabarrat's institutions and its general administration - feeling deep gratitude and appreciation for every effort you have expended, for every human, mission-driven touch you have planted in the hearts of children and of those in torment, and for every high resolve with which you raise a banner whose building was laid down by the founding religious authority (RA), who taught us that serving people is the summit of worship.
Words of thanks fall short before your sacrifices… You were a help and a support to those worn down by this destructive war, and you planted something of a gleam in eyes from which safety had slipped away.
And to all our people at Al-Mabarrat who have lost their loved ones - children, fathers, mothers, brothers and sisters - and to Al-Mabarrat's loss of our dear brother Nader Yazbek, director of the information technology department, and to all who have lost their homes and their livelihoods and who bear patiently what has befallen them: God will grant you your reward twice over, for your patience and for the pains you have borne. We ask God to have mercy on the martyrs, to grant a swift recovery to the wounded, and to return you to your towns, your villages and your homes safe and sound. Peace be upon you for your patience, and excellent is the final home.
From our position at Al-Mabarrat we will remain committed to striving diligently to meet the needs of our people and our loved ones within our means, and to support them by every available way. We are full of hope that relief is near, God willing, that all the destruction will be rebuilt with resolve and hope and by the arms of goodness and giving, that Al-Mabarrat's institutions will return to embrace their pupils and their children and to save their future from the claws of loss, and that homes will return to embrace their people once more, and return better than they were, by the leave of God Almighty.
And to all those who volunteered and did not leave the field of relief for the displaced in all its forms - the relief teams from Al-Mabarrat, the Al-Mabarrat Scouts, the women friends and friends of Al-Mabarrat, and everyone who contributed to teaching, upbringing, health relief, and to keeping the institutions for the elderly and for people with disabilities going, and keeping the productive institutions going: to all of you, dear ones, who represent the shining image of sincerity and dedication, we have learned from you that giving is measured neither by money nor by time, but by the spirit of sincerity and the truthfulness of intentions.
May you remain a light that never lets the darkness of the days scatter it, a good wind carrying the breezes of goodness, and a sincere prayer to the Lord of His servants from grateful hearts that do not know how to give you your due - asking God to grant you the protecting fortress of His care, and more desire for what is with Him.
“What is with you runs out, and what is with God remains. And We will surely give those who were patient their reward according to the best of what they used to do.” God Almighty has spoken the truth
