Imam Al-Jawad (PBUH) Secondary School held its career guidance fair with 17 universities and institutes present, aimed at the 687 pupils of the secondary section. It sought to help pupils determine their future choices among the specializations they wish to pursue, based on their abilities and inclinations. The fair included a word from the school's director, who commended the cooperation with Lebanese and private universities and the importance the school's administration attaches to guiding pupils toward the right choices, saying: “Here our role comes in as their support, in determining the best choice, by opening the way for them to learn about the universities and institutes in Lebanon - which is why we are keen to hold the career guidance fair every year and to answer their questions.”

She added: “This is bound up with our concern to carry out the counsel of His Eminence the founding religious authority (RA), who always stressed that the educational institution should complete its teaching and guidance role, which contributes to choosing the specialization that fits the learners' intellectual and educational directions.”

She addressed a word to the dear students, advising them: “From here is your first step on the path of work, so be aware and understanding… and let your choice be purposeful, built on sound rational thinking, and arising from will and determination…

For you are the mirror that reflects the image of renewal and life for our homeland.

From you we draw hope for a better future for our society, and on you we hang our dreams of a more beautiful tomorrow.”

This was followed by a word from the fair's patron, Father Boutros Eid, director of the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik, Zahle - Bekaa branch, who commended the efforts of the school's administration in helping pupils with career guidance and its constant concern to secure the best educational and guidance services for its students. Among the most notable things he said: “How much we need, in this age that is technological par excellence, enchanted by social media and its labyrinths, and immersed in artificial intelligence and its worlds - often obscure - guidance that keeps pace with the age and its developments, so that we may take our young people by the hand and bring them to a bright road paved with culture, knowledge and progress, attentive to the fields of their abilities and striving for their homeland's advance. This road becomes foggy only when they lack the counsel of those who went before them into the labour market - and I say today's labour markets.”
