Al-Mabarrat Charitable Association organized its annual “Festival of Joy and Love” under the patronage of the UN ambassador Salwa Ghaddar Younes, with the participation of about 750 orphaned children from the various Lebanese regions, in the Al-Kawthar sports hall on the airport road.
The festival included recreational activities, sporting displays, magic acts and a circus. There were speeches by the president of the women's committee at Al-Mabarrat Charitable Association Fadia Diab and by Younes, which centred on “the content and aims of this occasion and the developmental role played by Al-Mabarrat Charitable Association at the educational, care and social level”.
