Al-Mabarrat's schools issued a statement supporting the call of the Minister of Education and Higher Education for a safe return to gradual in-person blended teaching starting from 22 March 2021.

The statement read:

Al-Mabarrat's schools affirm that they are utterly keen on the future of a generation exposed to a catastrophic educational crisis the like of which Lebanon has not witnessed before, as a result of the present epidemic and social crisis.

They hold, on the basis of practical experience and international studies, that distance learning is not a substitute for in-person teaching, because it affects pupils' mental, emotional and social growth and their acquisition of the basic skills of reading, writing and others..

Accordingly, Al-Mabarrat's schools support the call of the Minister of Education and Higher Education for a safe return to gradual in-person blended teaching starting from 22 March 2021, with full commitment to the health protocols the Ministry of Education has affirmed, as in many Arab and foreign countries.

We ask God Almighty to remove this epidemic, which has worn out people's shoulders and disrupted their lives, and to protect our homeland Lebanon from all harm.
