“Al-Mabarrat Charitable Association” organized honouring activities for the members of the care supervision staff in all its care institutions over two days at “Imam Ali Bin Abi Talib Mabarrat” - Maaroub, within the events marking forty years since the founding of “Al-Mabarrat Charitable Association” and on the occasion of the anniversary of the noble Prophetic Mission.
The activities opened in the presence of the association's president Allama Sayyed Ali Fadlallah, the director general Sayyed Dr Mohammad Baqir Fadlallah and a crowd of directors of departments and care institutions and of care supervisors.
To begin with, Sayyed Fadlallah congratulated those present on the occasion of the noble Prophetic Mission, calling on “the care supervisor to take pride in the role he performs, in the period he has lived with the orphans, and in the divine success granted him to carry out this work”. He said: “Our choice of this occasion aims at our living the Messenger deeply, living the Prophet in his mercy - ‘And We have not sent you except as a mercy to the worlds'.”
He added: “We are in the atmosphere of the 40th year since the launch of Al-Mabarrat, and it is commonly held that the fortieth year is the year of maturity and ripeness in work. And although we have attained a maturity of experience, we always need to work at continuing to develop our expertise, to refine our experiences and to renew ourselves in our work and in our spirit too, and not to be content with the distinguished level we have reached in our experience and our programmes; rather we must continue our efforts in this field. In the end we face a great responsibility whose weight we must feel and in which we must rejoice at the same time.”
The children of “Al-Sayyeda Mariam Mabarrat” presented songs inspired by the occasion, then the official in charge of the care section at “Al-Hadi Institution” Rami Mortada spoke. The honouring events also included an entertainment evening that brought together the family of the association's care supervision staff, a sea trip in the city of Tyre and a land trip to Wadi Al-Hujair in the south, and the presentation of appreciation gifts to those being honoured.
