The care institutions at the “Al-Mabarrat Charitable” Association, represented by Samah Ramadan, took part in the “conference of the international FICE organization in Austria”, entitled “Together Towards a Better World for Children, Adolescents and Families”, in Vienna, Austria, with the participation of more than 60 countries from all over the world.
The conference aimed primarily at exchanging expertise on work with abandoned children and orphans, and at shedding light on the importance of training those who work with children and on how to follow up children after they leave the care institutions. It also presented the experiences of various countries in the form of programmes and studies that seek to develop social work, as well as an attempt to unify the vision of social work.
As for the most important subjects raised, they were “social justice for orphaned children; trauma disorder in a child deprived of family care; quality in providing services in social institutions; the vocational education of those working with adolescents; the role of neuroscience in studying the cases of children in social institutions; and other subjects presented in the form of workshops, reflection circles and lectures”.

Ramadan made effective interventions within the conference's events, shedding light on “the pioneering role of Al-Mabarrat Association in care and social work, whether in terms of financial sponsorship or of securing the psychological and physical health of the children”.
It is worth noting that communication and networking were activated with international organizations so as to exchange expertise among them with a view to providing the best services.
