For the second year running, Al-Abrar Secondary School completed the “Skills Builder” project, which aims to strengthen pupils' life skills, within a complete educational plan covering the teaching and administrative staff.
The project aims to embed the essential skills across the various subjects, through classroom and extracurricular activities designed specifically for this purpose, in addition to preparing the learning environment within the institution to meet the intended goals.
The school's administration affirmed that pupils were introduced to the required skills and trained to apply them practically, which was positively reflected in their performance, particularly in listening, speaking, teamwork and innovation skills.
As part of the educational partnership with families, parents were involved in the project's stages by being introduced to the target skills and taking part in school activities and open days.
The school observed marked progress in pupils' performance, with praise from those concerned for the level the students reached and their distinction in leadership and creative skills
