Al-Mabarrat has been the only partner in Lebanon with the Skills Builder organization since 2021. This organization is a global movement of employers, teachers and impact organizations working together to ensure that everyone one day builds the essential skills for success. This partnership is among the partnerships that help fulfil Al-Mabarrat's mission.
Within this partnership came participation in the accelerator award programme, which grants recognition awards (bronze / silver / gold / flagship) and provides support and guidance to institutions working to develop essential skills in their students and using the curriculum prepared by the movement
The first institution to join the programme was Al-Kawthar Secondary School in 2021, after which 6 Al-Mabarrat institutions joined, achieving the following results:
- Al-Kawthar Secondary School: renewal of the award for the third year, flagship+
- Al-Basha'er Secondary School: the gold award
- Al-Jawad Secondary School: the gold award
- Imam Al-Hassan Secondary School: the gold award
- Al-Abrar School: the gold award
- Al-Ishraq Secondary School: the bronze award, despite the difficult circumstances
- Rasoul Al-Mahabba School: the bronze award, despite its late start on the programme
Next year the partnership with these institutions will continue, and the following will join the programme: Al-Rahma and Issa Ibn Maryam Secondary Schools, the Imam Al-Hadi Foundation and Imam Al-Hussein (PBUH) School - given this programme's importance in developing pupils' skills in a systematic and considered way with the suitable means available for it.
