Al-Mabarrat's students won several prizes and medals at the closing ceremony of the fifteenth annual science contest 2018, organized by the National Council for Scientific Research in the conference hall at the Rafic Hariri University Campus in Hadath, with the participation of more than five hundred students from the various schools and high schools of Lebanon, who presented their projects and their operational, performance and technological innovations and their scientific research.
Imam Al-Jawad High School won the Antoine Harb prize for the project “The Effect of Cosmetics on a Nursing Mother's Milk”; “Al-Hadi Institution for Hearing and Visual Impairment and Language and Communication Disorders” won the gold medal for the intermediate stage for the project “The Smart Whistle”; and Imam Al-Kadhim High School won the silver medal for the intermediate stage for the project “The Smart Gloves”.
Imam Al-Hassan High School also won the gold for the intermediate stage for the project “A Device for Finding Lost Objects”, and likewise won the silver medal for the secondary stage for “The Aluminium in Our Lives project”. Imam Al-Baqir High School won a bronze medal for the intermediate stage for “The Smart Agricultural House project”. Imam Ali High School won the silver medal for the intermediate stage for the scientific research project “Nerve Regeneration”, as well as a silver medal for Issa Bin Maryam High School for the project “Fill Your House with Green”.
Each of these projects was judged by a panel composed of 7 to 12 university lecturers, who praised the effective and distinguished participation in terms of presentation, ideas and goals.
