Al-Mabarrat's schools and vocational institutes honoured their students who passed the official certificates, in the presence of educational and social figures and the students' families.
The Director General of Al-Mabarrat Charitable Association Dr. Mohammad Baqer Fadlallah delivered a speech at the ceremonies held, in which he said: “Al-Mabarrat's institutions have grown used to growing with their people, and to walking with their loved ones, their pupils, their teachers and all this cohort towards elevation and the achievement of the higher goals they have drawn for themselves - goals whose founder wanted everyone not to stop at the first marks of success but to seek excellence along the whole journey, because we have entered the stages in which societies and states select the elements of excellence, and in which the great administrations look for those who carry the distinctive imprint that raises them up and lifts their country's name among nations and states in the cycle of life.”
He added: “Success is complete only through continuity, ambition and climbing the ladder step by step without feeling despair or dejection, even if our circumstances are difficult - because we aspire to be the model that carries its successes to every horizon and leaves its imprint in the corners of this homeland, which is weary and exhausted to the utmost degree.”
He addressed the students, saying: “Seriousness in work and love of work are two necessary things. Love of study is a wonderful quality, and perseverance is a trait each of us can employ and benefit from; the greater the perseverance, the greater the focus on reaching the goal. Perseverance lies in trial and error, in discovering talents and skills and developing the spirit of innovation, for those who withdraw at the first obstacle will never be able to develop the spirit of innovation. Among the factors of future success is self-discipline, especially as the coming stage is the stage of moving from the regulated seats of school study to the free and open seats of study at university.”
He continued: “If you want success, dear ones, you must fill yourselves with faith, hope and love, and live without anger, greed or envy. When these concepts settle in your minds they will determine your view of life, and your view of life determines your actions, and your actions will determine the results. When you feed your minds sound ideas, these things will appear and will make you able to overcome hardships and to rid yourselves of the negative effects of anger, greed and envy.”
He addressed the families, saying: “We greatly appreciate and value your trust and your positive engagement. Today you live the joy and the successes of your own flesh and blood while still living the cares of their present and their future, and we note your role and your effective contribution to achieving these distinguished results. We appreciate your positive cooperation with the school administrations - this interactive relationship which in the end serves the interest of our dear children, who are the purpose of us all.”
He concluded: “The difficult experience we are passing through together in these lean years will not continue and will not remain as it is - this is God's way with His creation, and these thousands of experiences are before us. What is required is to invest in all this effort that has borne fruit: a great experience shaped by your minds and your hearts, in which you shed tears of joy before all these successes and perhaps tears of sorrow before all these pains. But you are people of goodness and the makers of the generations' future, and you are the ones who took and still take the road of dignity drawn by the founding Marja, whose experiences were an inspiration to the whole of society - that we pluck success from the heart of pain, that we shape love in the heart of suffering, and that we walk the road of hope through giving and work.”
