The vice-president of the Alwaleed Bin Talal Humanitarian Foundation, the former minister Leila Al-Solh Hamadeh, visited Bahman Hospital in the southern suburb of Beirut and toured among the patients, especially the children with cancer. She was received by the hospital's director Ali Karim and a number of doctors, male and female nurses, parents and patients.

It is worth noting that the Alwaleed Bin Talal Humanitarian Foundation has adopted the support of the “Joy Fund”, dedicated to treating the children enrolled in it.

There was a speech by Dr Mohammad Karim, who thanked Al-Solh for her presence and her support for the hospital and affirmed that by her presence she had come to sow hope in this edifice so that it might be a gift to every child…

There was a speech by Mrs Al-Solh in which she said: “Happy Ramadan to you; and the truth is that despite the events and the conditions I wanted to be among you, because this steadfast area deserves every attention and deserves every help. I want to wish the families patience and the children a speedy recovery. And I have no doubt that in this great edifice you will be able to find the treatment you need. We are in constant communication with the hospital, and this meeting is a meeting of faith so that a human being may live and a patient be healed. Here too we recall Sayyed Mohammad Hussein Fadlallah…”
