Al-Mabarrat Association's educational and care institutions celebrated the birth of Jesus Christ, holding a full and distinguished week for the occasion, amid a student atmosphere brimming with delight, joy and optimism.
The week included many activities, the most notable of which were: visits to Christian educational institutions, visits to churches and monasteries, and meetings with many Christian clergy, as well as a children's play staged by the Al-Mabarrat Scouts Association, entitled “Rain, O World, Rain Chicks”, by the theatre director Karim Dakroub.
In the same context Al-Mabarrat's institutions held art and handicraft exhibitions and a kermesse for the pupils displaced from the border areas to the Nabatieh area in the South, in addition to organizing a ceremony to distribute gifts to orphaned and needy pupils, offered by sponsors and supporters.
The week also featured activities introducing the life of Jesus Christ, celebrations of the birthdays of children whose birth coincided with the birth of Jesus Christ, as well as a football match and the watching of documentary films about the prophet whose birth was being celebrated.
