The Minister of Health Visited the Doha Al-Mabarrat Shelters in Doha Al-Huss: We Are Committed to Providing Support

The Minister of Public Health, Dr. Rakan Nassereddine, visited Imam Al-Khoei Charity in Doha Al-Huss – Khaldeh, where he inspected the conditions of the displaced people hosted by the institution. He was received by the Director General of Al-Mabarrat Charitable Association, Dr. Mohammad Baqer Fadlallah, a group of Al-Mabarrat institution directors, Al-Mabarrat scout leaders and officials at the center.

After touring the institution, Minister Nassereddine commended the services the institution provides to displaced families, noting that they are exemplary in every respect, whether in health services, food, heating, water, or the various aspects of daily life.

He went on to say that the burden remains very large, affirming that the Ministry of Public Health is committed to providing support and assistance with medication and hospital care. However, needs remain great in other areas, particularly diesel fuel, heating, and direct support to strengthen resilience.

For his part, Dr. Fadlallah thanked the Minister of Health for his visit, his concern and his review of the needs, affirming that it was an opportunity to thank those providing support to displaced families, and adding that the needs are very great.

He explained that the number of people at the Doha Al-Mabarrat center exceeds 2,000 displaced persons, noting that Al-Mabarrat has four other centers in more than one Lebanese region, hosting around 3,000 displaced people in total and providing them with comprehensive support
