Al-Mabarrat Charitable Association distributed at the Lady Khadija Al-Kubra Mabarra 1,350 food parcels to families of orphans and the needy, with preventive measures adopted during the handover process.

The parcels contained basic food materials families need, such as pulses, flour, rice, sugar, oil, cheese, tinned goods, pasta, juices and fresh meat.

The director of the Lady Khadija Mabarra Alia Karim explained that “this initiative comes within the framework of the continuous charitable and social work at Al-Mabarrat's institutions in the various Lebanese regions”, pointing out that “the initiative targets the families of orphans and the poorest families, especially in these difficult economic circumstances Lebanon is passing through”.

She added: “Al-Mabarrat continues to stand alongside the people through the trust of the people of goodness, who support its humanitarian work at more than one level.”
