Al-Hadi Institution for Hearing and Visual Impairment and Language and Communication Disorders took second and third place in the European championship for teaching mathematics through theatre 2015 “EURO MATH”, held in Athens under the patronage of the Ministry of Education in Greece and organized by the European Le Math foundation and the European Mathematical Society, with the participation of more than 200 pupils from 15 European countries. Al-Hadi Institution, with its team of 18 male and female pupils, was the only Arab institution taking part in the championship and the only institution concerned with people with special needs. The championship was divided into three age categories: the institution won second place in the age category from 9 to 13 years, and came third in the age category from 13 to 16 years; while in the solo presentation category the pupil Ghanwa Trayji gave a presentation within the framework of interactive mathematics and received a commendation from the judging panel.
