On the occasion of Resistance and Liberation Day, the Coordination Meeting of Islamic Educational Institutions organized a joint educational and art exhibition, under the patronage of the Director General of the Islamic Religious Education Association Mr. Mohammad Samaha, at Al-Batoul Secondary School on Airport Road. The exhibition brought together learners' work from the member schools, with a closing ceremony honoring participants in the following subjects: environment, technology, fine arts and science.
The event saw wide participation from Al-Mabarrat schools, Amal Educational Schools, Al-Mahdi Schools, and the schools of the Islamic Religious Education Association, attended by Mr. Fayez Jalloul representing the Director General of Al-Mabarrat Charitable Association, the Deputy Director General of the Islamic Foundation for Education and Teaching Dr. Fadl Al-Moussawi, the Director General of Amal Educational Institutions Dr. Bilal Zeineddine, in addition to a number of educational and social figures and parents.
The ceremony opened with a Quranic recitation, followed by the Lebanese national anthem, then varied artistic and educational segments in which students from all the institutions took part. The Director General of the Islamic Religious Education Association, Mr. Mohammad Samaha, then delivered a speech praising the educational efforts made and affirming the importance of such events in shaping the student's character and strengthening a spirit of belonging and innovation.
It is worth noting that Al-Mabarrat schools stood out with a Quranic dialogue segment addressing reflection on the verses of the Quran and relating them to daily life, and a poem inspired by “The Mountain of Longing” by the poet Dawoud Mhanna, expressing a spirit of belonging to the land of the South.
At the exhibition, Al-Mabarrat students presented creative work in technology, the environment and science, alongside paintings produced by fine arts students embodying concepts of beauty, ornament and nature, and marked by a high artistic sense and innovation.
