Al-Mabarrat Charitable Association honoured the staff of its institutions spread across Lebanese territory on the occasion of Labour Day, as part of the events of the fortieth annual anniversary of the founding of “the Association”.

In a speech, the director general of “the Association” Mohammad Baqir Fadlallah called on the staff to “the necessity of consolidating institutional work and of identifying with any new structure in the areas of work”, stressing “the importance of embracing the new employees, who should feel a family belonging, and the importance of helping them to become involved in their work with complete ease”.

He pointed to “our need to root the values of tolerance in our working life”, holding that “the behaviours of kindness, altruism, forgiveness, benevolence, forbearance and amity require adherence to the principle of tolerance and the containment and management of disagreement”.

He added: “We must attend to the great challenges that face us and that threaten our present and our future”, pointing out that “if we are not one hand and one heart in our journey, and if we do not cooperate in supporting the rules of institutional work that guarantee protection from the surrounding dangers, then we shall reap loss, dispersion and backwardness”.

He concluded: “Forty years since the birth of Al-Mabarrat, we look forward with you to a flourishing future, and to keeping the trust of the founder, His Eminence Allama Marja' Sayyed Mohammad Hussein Fadlallah, who used to urge us to be people of the future; and we shall be proud that Al-Mabarrat has become a model in education, teaching, care and humanity, affirming the family spirit that gathers us together and unites our hearts.”
